I am an Assistant Professor at Arizona State University in the Psychology Department. I received my Ph.D. in Psychology & Neuroscience from Duke University in 2017, and conducted a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Washington between 2017 and 2019. I am broadly interested in exploring the origins and development of human social cognition. Visit our research and publications page to learn more. When I’m not in the lab, I can be found exploring the Southwest with my two dogs, Bodie and Homer.

I graduated from Cornell University in May 2019 with a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology as well as a minor in Inequality Studies. I’m interested in research topics such as cognitive/conceptual development, social inequality, and the intersection between psychology and early education. I love working with kids, educating others, and being home in the blazing hot Arizona desert. In the near future, I plan to pursue a PhD in social/developmental psychology and later become a college professor.
